Start working by creating a new document (Ctrl+N) in Adobe Photoshop CS5 with the size 1000px by 1500px(RGB color mode) at a resolution of 72 pixels/inch. Use the Paint Bucket Tool (G) to fill with #0A2406 color the new background layer.
Find a stock photo with a model represented on it, I used this Portrait of beautiful and sexy fashion woman fromShutterstock. I would like to thank the author of this photo, or if you prefer, you can substitute similar image of your own.
Remove the background using your favorite tools like Pen Tool (P), Magic Wand Tool (W), Magnetic Lasso (L) or even a simple Filter>Extract and insert it on a new layer in our main document.
Create now a new layer and select the Soft Round brush.
Use this brush to paint the background as it is demonstrated on the next picture. The brush’s color is #D260C0. The layer will be placed under the woman’s layer.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Hue.
Find a stock photo with fire on a black background:
Insert it on our main document. Fire layer will be placed under the woman’s layer. Using the Free Transform (Ctrl+T) command, we may change the fire’s layer sizes if necessary.
Insert the mask on last made layer by choosing Add layer mask on the bottom part of the Layers panel and choose the Soft Round brush of black color (set Opacity to 40% in Options bar).
Paint in the mask using this brush to hide the fire’s layer along its edges. Set Fill to 70% for this layer.
Next we’ll represent a triangle, choose the Pen Tool (P), set the drawing mode on Shape Layers in Options bar and draw the next shape as shown. The layer will be situated under the woman’s layer.
Click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Drop Shadow.
We’ve got the next result:
Using the same tool, it’s possible to represent another triangle of white color. Place the layer under the model’s one.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Soft Light and add Drop Shadow style like on the previous triangle.
Take the Pen Tool (P) to create near the recently made one, another triangle. Place the layer under the woman’s layer. The triangle’s color is gray.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Soft Light. Click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of theLayers panel and select Drop Shadow.
We’ve got the next result:
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Hue/Saturation.
Drag the slider to the left to decrease the Hue of the color range.
Drag the slider to the left to decrease the Hue of the color range.
The layer will be situated under the woman’s one.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Screen.
Insert the mask on the last made layer by choosing Add layer mask on the bottom part of the Layers paneland choose the Soft Round brush of black color (set Opacity to 30% in Options bar).
Paint in the mask using this brush to hide out the edges as shown, re-creating this way the flame.
Create one more triangle, cutting the inside part of it, using the Pen Tool (P), select the Exclude overlapping shape areas from Options bar to cut the central part of the triangle.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Soft Light. Click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of theLayers panel and select Drop Shadow.
We’ve got the next result:
Use the Pen Tool (P) to represent this time a white triangle with the previous layer’s parameters (Blending mode-Soft Light and Drop Shadow style). Place the layer under the woman’s layer.
Create a new layer and choose the Paint Bucket Tool (G) to fill the new layer with #391E2A color. Place the layer under the woman’s layer.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Lighten.
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and click to Curves to adjust the curve shape as shown to make a little color corrections.
Place the layer under the woman’s layer. We’ve got the next result:
Create a new layer and choose the Soft Round brush of white color to represent many dots.
Place the layer under the layer containing the woman’s image.
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Hue/Saturation.
Drag the slider to the right to increase the Hue and Lightness of the color range. Drag the slider to the left to decrease the Saturation. Place the layer under the woman’s one.
Create a new layer and select the Soft Round brush.
Use this brush to paint the next zone around the woman. The brush’s color #FFF79C (set Opacity to 30% inOptions bar)
Pass on the woman’s layer. Insert the mask on this layer by choosing Add layer mask on the bottom part of theLayers panel and choose the Soft Round brush of black color mentioned in the previous example to hide the woman’s image as it is shown below:
Insert a new layer (Create new layer) and select the Soft Round brush.
Use this brush to paint again around the woman’s image with the color #FFF699.
Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) and click between brush’s layer and the woman’s one in theLayers panel to create a clipping mask.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Vivid Light.
Create a new layer and select the Soft Round brush of black color (brush Opacity – 15%).
Use this brush to paint the shown zones on the woman’s body.
Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) and click between layers in the Layers panel to create aclipping mask.
Set Fill to 84% for this layer and change the Blending mode to Hard Mix.
On the new layer we’ll use the Paint Bucket Tool (G) to fill it with #ACC6BF color.
Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) and click between layers in the Layers panel to create aclipping mask.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Multiply.
Now we have to repeat the actions applied on the previous layer and create a new one layer, using on it thePaint Bucket Tool (G) to fill it with #FFC087.
Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) and click between layers in the Layers panel to create aclipping mask.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Hue.
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and click to Curves to adjust the curve shape as shown to make a little color corrections.

Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) and click between layers in the Layers panel to create aclipping mask.

Insert the mask on the recently made layer by choosing Add layer mask on the bottom part of the Layers panel and choose the Soft Mechanical brush of black color (set Opacity to 20% in Options bar).
Paint in the mask using this brush to hide the next zone around the woman along the edges.
Create a new layer and select the Paint Bucket Tool (G) to fill it with #2A1D3B color.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Soft Light.
Using the Pen Tool (P), we can represent many triangles of white color and annex the earlier made ones, represent the next tetrahedrons.
All the triangles have the next parameters: set the Blending mode for this layer to Soft Light and click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of the Layers panel to Drop Shadow.

Using the earlier applied tool, we have to represent another triangle on the previous one of the color #1F1F1F, having the same layer parameters with the previous triangles.
Set Fill to 66% for this layer.
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Hue/Saturation.
Drag the slider to the left to decrease the Saturation of the color range and drag the slider to the right to increase the Lightness.
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and click to Curves to adjust the curve shape as shown to make a little color corrections.

Now we have to represent the rays. In this case we’ll create a new file with the size 700px by 700px (RGBcolor mode) at a resolution of 28 pixels/inch. Choose the Gradient Tool (G) and select from Gradient Presets the Black, White preset, try now to apply the gradient from top of the document to bottom.

Apply then the next filter: Filter > Distort > Wave.

Insert now the rays layer on the main document and choose the Free Transform (Ctrl+T) command to turn around the rays.
Insert the mask on the last made layer by choosing Add layer mask on the bottom part of the Layers paneland choose the Soft Round brush of black color (set Opacity to 30% in Options bar).
Paint in the mask using this brush to hide the rays on the central part and make visible the woman layer.
Set Fill to 14% for this layer and change the Blending mode to Divide.
Make a copy of the recently made layer, leaving only the mask and apply the Soft Round brush mentioned above to hide the rays around the woman. Press CTRL+SHIFT+U on the rays’ layer to Desaturate.
Set Fill to 49% for this layer and change the Blending mode to Pin Light.
Next step we’ll download set of brushes for Adobe Photoshop, named: Sujune Brush Pack 2 . I would like to thank the author of these brushes, or if you prefer, you can substitute similar brushes of your own.
Copy the brushes file to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop X\Presets\Brushes folder (Adobe Photoshop X been your version of Photoshop). Little tutorial to explain how to load new brushes here.
Create a new layer, go to Brush Tool (B) and load the downloaded brushes, select the next brush:
Use this brush to paint around the woman. The brush’s color is #FFFDCD (brush’s Opacity – 80%).
Set Fill to 90% for this layer and change the Blending mode to Vivid Light.
Make a copy of the layer with desaturated rays. Hold Alt button and click on Add a Mask option from bottom part of the Layers panel, selecting the Soft Round brush of white color (brush’s Opacity – 30%).
Paint in the mask using this brush to hide the rays around the woman.
Set Fill to 6% for this layer and change the Blending mode to Hard Mix.
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and click to Curves to adjust the curve shape as shown to make a little color corrections.

Choose the Pen Tool (P), set the drawing mode on Shape Layers in Options bar and draw the next triangle as shown of white color.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Soft Light and click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of theLayers panel to select Drop Shadow.
